Is a body of believers founded and grounded on the gospel of Jesus Christ. We place unrivaled value on the preaching of God’s Word and the submission of every sphere of life to God in worship. In all we do, we are committed to this singular vision from 1 Corinthians 1:23:

Seeking God
Our chief aim is to seek God in the face of Jesus Christ. We gather on Sunday morning to worship through singing, praying, giving, and preaching. To preach the message of the cross, we must first know the God who ordained the cross.
God saves us from sin and judgment and then sends us out for good works. Motivated by the love of God in the gospel, we strive to care for those in our church body and shine a light in our community through Christlike love and service.
Serving Others
The power of God for salvation is not in us or our good deeds. Rather, the power of God to save sinners is found in a message to be shared (Rom. 1:16). In all things, we strive to lift high the hope of this atoning gospel, that all people might come to Christ in repentance and faith.

Braden Adams
Senior Pastor/Elder
Braden and his wife Laura joined the ministry at FBC in May of 2023. Braden has been preaching and active in church ministry for over 10 years. He is passionate about the expositional preaching of Scripture and the exultation of the cross of Christ. God has blessed Braden and Laura with three little girls that accompany them in ministry.
Mark Dearing
Associate Pastor of Students, Families, and Outreach/Elder
Mark and his wife, Melanie, are in their "2nd Tour" of service at FBC. They worked with students and children from 2004-2014 before the Lord called their family to serve in Haiti. Mark rejoined the staff of FBC in September of 2024. Mark loves the book of Romans, fishing, and pickleball - and if a pickleball game leads to a gospel conversation, that's a win! Mark and Melanie are parents to three young adults and a bonus son.
Shannon Bauguess
Office Administrator
Shannon has been the office admin since 2017 and helps hold down the daily operations of the church. She and her husband Matt have 2 children and enjoy camping and being outdoors. She is active in several other areas of church ministry besides being the 'first face' of the church office.
